This is in the middle of Windy Cut. The banks were only about 8 feet deep before this storm. The top of the wing on the plow is 10.6 feet. The snow occurred on Tuesday the 24th. It took the plow two full days just to reach this point as the snow was very heavy and wet. Sometimes the plow cannot dislodge and break up the snow and will produce an undercut. When this happens, the section crew will have to cut the overhang down (see below).
