The M&PP Ry. has about 25
full time employees. Most of these are engineers who run
trains in the operating season and work on the equipment in the off-season. If you have a
mechanical background and enjoy working with people, the Railway might have a seasonal,
and occasionally, a full time job available.
During the operating season, the Railway has about 60 seasonal employees. Many of these
are students and teachers who only work while school is out. Others are able to work the
entire operating season (late April through December). Our seasonal jobs are:
- Gift Shop Workers (selling clothing and curios)
- Track Workers (heavy manual labor; frequently at altitude)
- Ticket Agents (selling tickets and taking reservations)
- Conductors (helping passengers take a safe, fun and informative trip to
the top of America's best known mountain)
- Seasonal Engineers (operating trains up and down Pike's Peak)
- Cafe Workers (preparing and selling food in our cafe)
- Parking Lot Attendants (directing auto traffic in our parking lots)
If you are interested in working for the Pikes Peak Cog Railway, please contact us at
one of our addresses at the bottom.
Thanks!
